Introduction of Gaganyaan

The Gaganyaan word made from two words first Gaganyaan which mean Sky and Yaan mean space craft.


The Gaganyaan is one of the most important missions of ISRO. The Gaganyaan is dedicated to space around the earth.

Development

The Gaganyaan is developed by Indian Space Research Organization, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and Defence Research and Development Organization.

The Gaganyaan is capsule shape space craft. The development of Gaganyaan has started in year 2006.

 

 

Work

The Gaganyaan will also carry the 3 astronauts. It will be first human Spacecraft of India. 

The Gaganyaan will revolution earth 400 Kilometer height from earth.

The crew will 7 days stay in space. The space craft will have life support and environmental control systems.

 

The Gaganyaan will do many experiments in space.

  

The space craft will be equipped with emergency mission abort capabilities and a Crew Escape System (CES)

which can be activated during the first stage or second rocket stage.  

  

The first test of Gaganyaan has done by ISRO 18 December 2014 but that time space was without human.

 

The Gaganyaan will be launch by

Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle mark 3

Gaganyaan Test Flight 2023

 

The ISRO has done successful test of  Gaganyaan test flight date on 21 October 2023 from Sriharikota India.

  

This test mission known as Test Vehicle Abort Mission -1 or Test Vehicle Demonstration flight (TV-D1)

The purpose of this test is crew of Gaganyaan can abort if any technical problem in Gaganyaan. 

 

Conclusion-


The Gaganyaan  is one of the one of most  expensive mission.

The India first time send human in space.
